General information
To participate to the congress you must be a member of CAA. Individual membership of CAA is open to anyone on payment of a nominal annual fee.
The annual membership can be paid when registering to the annual conference (the conference fee includes membership in CAA), or by payment of a membership fee to the organization. Membership runs from the date of payment of the fee through the upcoming annual conference, and up to but not including the first day of the annual conference of the following year.
Individual members are entitled to the following:
- to attend the annual conference;
- to keeping their name and address on the mailing list held by the CAA Steering Committee for 3 years;
- to receive a copy of all membership mailings;
- to vote at the Annual General Meeting (AGM);
- to take part in postal and e-mail votes, as and when necessary;
- to receive a 20% discount off proceedings ordered from CAA.
CAA Fees
The CAA regular membership fee is € 60,-, concessionary rate is € 15.
The CAA membership is VAT free, but not the registration to the Conference (details will be on the invoice)
Concessionary rate applies to the following categories of members:
- Concessionary
- Retired
- Unemployed and other low income categories

Full Conference Registration (Early bird and Regular) includes:
- The CAA regular membership fee is € 60,-, concessionary rate is € 15
- Attendance at Conference Sessions and Rountables for the 3 days (23-25 April)
- Conference Bag and Program
- Morning/Afternoon Teas & Lunches during the Congress (23 to 25 April)
- Welcome cocktail
Additionnal payment
- for the Workshops (including Lunch & teas-coffee break), €30

**Accompanying persons are relatives who does not participate to the Conference but can access to shared spaces. The rights for accompanying persons includes the social event 1 (welcome), the lunch & cafe. Dinner & excursions can be booked also by additional payment.

Registration fees DO NOT include the cost of the conference dinner, excursions, printed proceedings and socials events nor the support housing and dinner. These are charged separately to the participants (additional).

Tours and excursions will be organized after or before the conference by colleagues representing different institutions. The organization and the payment of the additionnal events are chargeable to the participants. Draft visits are planned in the following places and being formalized:
- Excursion 1 (Normandy) : Caen and Bayeux,
- Excurions 2 : Reims
- National Museum of Archaeology
- Archaeological places of Paris...
Retractation:
You have 7 work days to refer to your right over retractation. This time begins once you have submitted your final registration with the payment.
In this case, please send a email at caa2014@sciencesconf.org with your personal Information and join the payment ticket. (incomplete request will not be considered). The Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne reserves the right to invoice bank handling charges, if any.
CANCELLATION:
Conference organizers reserves the right to cancel the congress, in which case you will get a full refund. No reimbursement is possible for the participants in case of absence from the workshop, social events, conference dinner or the excursions
In case of cancellation later than 7 days after subscription, no refund will be possible.
Conference organizers recommend that you subscribe a personnal cancellation insurance (find out if it's the case with your payment mean).
